The Philippine Studies Program at Sciences Po Paris Institute of Political Studies (Institut des études politiques) serves as a hub for lectures and seminars conducted in collaboration with the International Affairs Office. The program facilitates high-level engagement, including orientations on Philippine-France diplomatic relations for the Junior Diplomat Initiative. Embassy officials further enrich the curriculum by leading forums on migration and international relations.
Additionally, a partnership with CHED provides scholarships for Filipino faculty to pursue advanced degrees at Sciences Po. This collaboration further supports research and exchange programs in fields like Urban Studies and Social Policy.
Founded in 1872, Sciences Po is a prestigious French research university and grande école specializing in the social sciences and humanities. Established to educate a new generation of leaders, it played a pioneering role in defining political science as a formal academic discipline in France.
Today, Sciences Po stands as France’s leading international institution for political studies, law, and history. Based in Paris, it remains dedicated to shaping global leaders through rigorous research and a legacy of academic excellence that bridges tradition with modern governance.
